This website, thecoachsengine.com, is operated by Jack Attard Cassar ("The Coach's Engine", "I", "me"). This policy explains what data is collected when you visit this site or book a call, and how it is used.

What I collect

• Booking details. When you book a call through the Calendly widget on this site, Calendly collects the details you enter, such as your name, email address and anything you write in the booking form. Calendly shares those details with me so I can hold the call.
• Usage data. Like most websites, this site collects technical data such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed and interactions with the page, through the analytics tools listed below.
• Cookies. This site and its analytics tools set cookies to recognise your browser, measure ad performance and understand how the site is used.

Analytics and advertising tools

This site uses the following third party tools:

• Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API (Meta Platforms). Used to measure ad performance and improve ad delivery. Events such as page views and call bookings are sent to Meta, including technical identifiers like your IP address, browser information and Meta cookies. See Meta's Privacy Policy.
• Google Analytics 4 (Google). Used to understand site traffic and behaviour. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft). Used for session replays and heatmaps to improve the site. See Microsoft's Privacy Statement.
• Calendly. Powers the booking calendar. See Calendly's Privacy Policy.
• Netlify. Hosts this website and processes standard server logs. See Netlify's Privacy Policy.

Why I use this data

• To hold the call you booked and follow up about it
• To measure and improve the performance of this site and its advertising
• To understand how visitors use the site so it can be improved

Legal basis

Where UK GDPR applies, I rely on legitimate interest for analytics and advertising measurement, and on taking steps prior to entering a contract when you book a call. Where consent is required for cookies, it is your continued use of the site and your browser settings that govern this.

Sharing

I do not sell your personal data. Data is shared only with the service providers listed above, who process it under their own privacy policies, and where required by law.

Retention

Booking details are kept for as long as needed to manage our conversation and any work that follows. Analytics data is retained according to each tool's default retention settings.

Your rights

You can ask me to access, correct or delete the personal data I hold about you at any time. You can also opt out of interest based advertising through your Meta ad preferences and control cookies through your browser settings.
